You may also consider residential treatment if you and your doctor/therapist feel your child needs 24/7 care from a team of professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists.
You should work with mental health professionals to evaluate your child and the need for residential treatment. CHART also provides the COMPASS-Eval™ and COPI (Care Optimized Placement Inventory) which are tools you fill out and provide to your child’s doctors or therapists and the therapists at the residential treatment centers you are considering.
